How does it avoid obstacles?

With a 3D sensor, an AI camera and a light to see in the dark. Dreame says it recognises more than 280 types of object, such as cables, socks and pet mess.

What happens to the mops on carpet?

It can drop its mop pads at the dock before vacuuming carpet, and otherwise lifts them by 10.5 mm. On carpet it switches to full suction.

Can it climb door thresholds?

Higher than most. Dreame quotes up to 4–5 cm for a double-layer step and about 2–3 cm for a single step, depending on the region's spec sheet.

Will it fit under my sofa?

Likely — Dreame says it's 8.2 cm tall, one of the slimmest in its range. Our robot vacuum height checker shows which robots fit your furniture.

How does the dock clean the mops?

With 100°C hot water, then hot-air drying. It also re-mops dirty spots it finds, and empties the bin into a 3.2 L bag.

How big are the water tanks?

4.5 L clean and 4 L dirty, so you refill and empty them less often than on smaller docks.

How strong is the suction?

Dreame rates it at up to 35,000 Pa.

Should I get this or the Dreame D30 Ultra?

The L60 Ultra if you have pets, lots of clutter or high thresholds, and want stronger obstacle avoidance. The D30 Ultra for a lot less if your floors are fairly clear.
