How big a room can it clean?
A big one. Levoit says it cleans the air in a 635 ft² (about 59 m²) room five times an hour, or a 2,909 ft² (about 270 m²) space once an hour. RTINGS found it enough for a studio flat or open-plan living area on high.
Is it quiet enough for a bedroom?
On sleep mode, yes — Levoit rates it at 26 dB. On higher speeds RTINGS found it noticeably louder than premium purifiers.
Does it adjust itself to the air quality?
Yes. Auto mode reads the air quality and speeds the fan up or down, and the app shows the reading over time.
Does it have an ioniser or make ozone?
No ioniser — it relies on its filter, which RTINGS points to as a reason to pick it over purifiers with always-on ionisation.
Which filter should I buy?
Levoit sells the standard 3-stage filter plus versions aimed at smoke and at household chemicals and odours. The app tells you when the filter needs changing.
Does it work with Alexa or Google?
Yes. You can control it by voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or set schedules in the VeSync app.
What's the warranty?
A 2-year limited warranty.
Is it too big for a bedroom?
It's a tall floor-standing unit. For a bedroom, the smaller and cheaper Levoit Core 200S is usually enough.
Should I get the Core 600S or the Core 200S?
The 600S for living rooms and open-plan spaces. The 200S for a bedroom, nursery or small office.
