Is the Soundcore Space A40 worth it?
Yes — the best noise cancelling for little money.
They block noise far better than most budget earbuds, sound balanced and detailed, and last about 8 hours with noise cancelling on. They're light, connect to two devices at once and charge wirelessly. The mic is weak in noisy places, there's no wear sensor to pause music, and they're only splash resistant.
Good to know
- The mic is poor in noisy places.
- There's no wear sensor, so music doesn't pause when you take one out.
- Multipoint switches off when LDAC hi-res is on.
- Only splash resistant (IPX4).

- Excellent noise cancelling for the price
- About 8 hours a charge, 40+ with the case
- Multipoint and wireless charging

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS names them the best budget noise-cancelling earbuds and among the best under $100, with amazing noise isolation and about 8 hours of battery but a poor mic. Trusted Reviews gives them four stars for balanced, detailed sound and long battery, noting no wear sensor. Currys has stopped selling them, so in the UK they're on Amazon only.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
