Is the Apple AirPods Pro 3 worth it?
Yes — the best earbuds if you have an iPhone.
Noise cancelling is right up with the Sony, they fit more ears thanks to five tip sizes, and pairing, switching and finding them just work across Apple devices. They also track heart rate during workouts and can act as hearing aids. On Android you lose most of what makes them special, and battery is about 8 hours a charge with less in the case than before.

What owners say
Owners love the sound, the noise cancelling and the comfortable fit. The main complaints are units that stop working or charging within months, and a new shape that hurts or falls out of some ears.
Good to know
- The case holds less charge than the AirPods Pro 2's: about 24 hours in total.
- There's no EQ to adjust the sound, and only AAC (no hi-res codecs).
- The case has no button for pairing; it's done from the iPhone.

Get it if…
- You have an iPhone and want the best earbuds for it.
- You work out: they're sweat and water resistant (IP57) and track heart rate.
- Earbuds usually fall out of your ears: XXS to L tips fit most people.
Skip it if…
- You use Android: the Sony or Samsung do more there.
- You want an EQ to tune the sound: there isn't one.
How we reached this verdict
RTINGS names them the best earbuds for iPhone, with outstanding noise isolation that goes toe to toe with Sony's WF-1000XM6. What Hi-Fi gives them five stars and TechRadar 4.5 out of 5, praising the fit, sound and new heart-rate tracking. The trade-offs are a smaller battery in the case, no EQ, and features that mostly need an Apple device.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
