Is the BISSELL CrossWave OmniForce Edge worth it?

Yes — the best wet and dry floor cleaner for most homes.

It vacuums and mops in one pass, lifts stains well and its roller reaches right to the edge of the room, which most rivals don't. A vacuum-only mode lets you run it over rugs without soaking them, and it rinses its own roller in the dock. It runs for about 30 minutes, which covers most homes. It doesn't dry the roller with hot air like pricier models, so leave the dock somewhere it can air.

What owners say

Owners love that it vacuums and mops in one pass, how easy it is to clean afterwards and how simple it is to use. Complaints are rare and don't repeat.

Good to know

  • No hot-air drying, so the roller dries in the open after its self-clean.
  • The cleaning solution runs out fairly quickly.
  • It won't fully replace a vacuum on carpet.
  • About 30 minutes of battery.

Get it if…

  • You have mostly hard floors with a rug or two.
  • You want edges and skirting boards cleaned too.

Skip it if…

  • You have big greasy spills to shift: the Roborock F25 Ultra adds hot water and steam.
  • You need to reach far under low furniture: the Tineco lies flatter.
How we reached this verdict

Trusted Reviews gives it 5/5 and puts it top of its hard-floor cleaner guide for its speed, stain removal and edge-to-edge roller; its one complaint is the lack of hot-air drying. Ideal Home (4.5/5) praises the edge cleaning and the vacuum-only mode, but notes the solution doesn't go far.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
