Is the Dell Alienware AW2725DF worth it?
Yes — the value pick for OLED gaming.
You get OLED's deep blacks, vivid colour and near-instant response at 360Hz, with superb accuracy out of the box and a very adjustable stand. Dell's three-year warranty covers burn-in. It isn't very bright, its blacks look purple in a lit room, and HDMI is only 2.0, so consoles can't use all their features.
Good to know
- No speakers or audio output (RTINGS).
- The USB-C port can't carry video from a laptop.
- Text isn't as clean as on some 1440p screens.

Get it if…

- You want a warranty that covers burn-in.
Skip it if…
- You mostly play on a PS5 or Xbox — HDMI 2.0 limits them.
- Your desk faces a bright window.
How we reached this verdict
RTINGS names it the best mid-range gaming monitor: deep blacks, vivid colour, a 360Hz refresh rate, near-instant response, low input lag and superb accuracy before calibration. It gives up HDMI 2.1, brightness for sunny rooms and USB-C video, which is how it costs less than the LG.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
