Is the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP07 worth it?

Yes — if you want heat and clean air from one machine.

It warms a bedroom or small living room, cools you like a fan in summer and cleans the air all year, with a screen and app that show what's in it. It's expensive, its cooling is just moving air, and it cleans a room more slowly than a cheaper purifier.

Good to know

  • Cooling is just a breeze, not air conditioning.

How we reached this verdict

Tom's Guide calls it pricey but with top-notch heating and design. RTINGS likes its air-quality screen, sensors and app, but rates its particle filtration below par and its clean-air output fairly low, and it gets noisy with the heater on. Most owners are happy, chiefly with the heat and how quiet it is; the unhappy ones mostly expected stronger cooling or more heat.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
