Is the HP Victus 15 (2025) worth it?
Only at a sale price.
It plays games steadily at 1080p, stays fairly quiet and cool, and you can add memory and storage. But its graphics are held to 80 W, well below what the same chips get in rivals, the screen is dim and washed out, and the battery lasts about four hours. Spend a little more and the LOQ 15 is much faster.

What owners say
The few owners who wrote more than a rating say it plays their games well for the price. None gave it 3 stars or fewer.
Good to know
- The graphics are limited to 80 W, so they run below what the same chips do in rivals.
- The screen is dim (about 300 nits) and shows only about two-thirds of normal colour range.
- About four hours of browsing on battery.
- Avoid 8 GB builds: 16 GB is the minimum for games now.
- Make sure it's the 2025 model: 15-fa2 or 15-fb3 in the model number.

How we reached this verdict
Notebookcheck (76%) found it consistent and quiet but held back: an 80 W RTX 5050, a 303-nit screen covering 64% of sRGB and about four hours on battery, and noted RTX 5060 laptops cost only slightly more. Profesional Review gave the RTX 5060 version 83% for the price; Presse-citron (6.2/10) called it good value only on sale.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
