Why this verdict?
RTINGS rates it excellent for mixed use, with inky blacks, a very wide viewing angle and near-instant response for games. Expert Reviews names it the best TV for gaming (9.2 ms input lag) and Trusted Reviews its best mid-range TV. Its one real weakness is just-okay reflection handling.
Things to know before you buy
- You need an LG account to use nearly every app (Trusted Reviews).
- No HDR10+ or DTS sound passthrough (RTINGS).
- The 77- and 83-inch sizes are a different, brighter panel sold as the C6H.
How we reached this verdict
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
