Is the Ninja Fireside360 worth it?

Yes — for warm evenings on the patio.

It puts out heat all the way round, so whichever side you sit you stay warm, and you can run the flame, the heater or both from one dial. There's no smoke, ash or cleanup, and the 20 lb propane tank hides in the base. It's expensive and burns through propane quickly on full.

Good to know

  • About 40 lb with no handles, so it's awkward to move.
  • Wind cuts the heat noticeably.
  • Children can reach the hot heating grid.

Get it if…

  • You want to sit outside on cold evenings.
  • You hate wood smoke and ash.
  • You want something you can start with a push.

Skip it if…

  • You want a real wood fire.
  • You sit in low camp chairs — the heat sits high and misses your legs.
How we reached this verdict

Tom's Guide gave it 4/5 and an Editor's Choice: heat reaches every side, setup is easy and Ninja's runtimes held up, but it drinks propane and low chairs leave your legs cold. Bob Vila felt warmth across about a 10-foot circle with no soot on a covered patio, and noted the price and the reachable heating grid.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
