Is the Ninja SLUSHi Max worth it?
Yes β for big families and regular hosts.
It makes about 12 drinks at once, and its SlushAssist mode senses what you poured in, sets the temperature and warns you if it needs more sugar. Homes & Gardens had thick slush from juice in under 15 minutes, and a rinse cycle and slide-out parts make cleaning easy. It's large and heavy, can't make single servings, and its milkshakes came out icy.

How we reached this verdict
Homes & Gardens (4.5/5) found it quick, quiet at about 70dB and easy to clean, with commercial-quality slush; it lost half a star for size and a disappointing milkshake setting. Bob Vila's tester got smooth, spoonable slush and thick milkshakes, so results with dairy vary.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
