Is the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro worth it?

Yes — if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone.

They're comfortable and stable, block noise very well and sound clear and detailed, especially in Samsung's hi-res mode on a Galaxy phone. They switch between Galaxy devices on their own and resist sweat and rain (IP57). Battery is about 6 hours with noise cancelling, and there's no Galaxy Wearable app for iPhone, so they're a poor fit outside Android.

How we reached this verdict

RTINGS names them the best earbuds for Samsung phones: a warm sound, fantastic noise isolation, a comfortable stable fit and a better mic than before, with battery the weak point. What Hi-Fi gives them four stars for clear, detailed sound at its best on a Galaxy; Expert Reviews praises the comfort and noise cancelling but finds calls muffled in noise. They don't have an iPhone app.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
