Is the Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless worth it?
Yes — if sound and battery matter most.
They sound rich, smooth and detailed, and the battery lasts about 57 hours with noise cancelling on, nearly twice the Sony's or Bose's. You can even replace the battery yourself. Calls are among the best. The noise cancelling is good and better on voices than the Momentum 4, but the Sony and Bose make a noisy train quieter.

How we reached this verdict
What Hi-Fi scores its sound and features five out of five: rich, detailed and refined, with calls 'right up there with the best'. Trusted Reviews calls them the best Momentum over-ears yet, and RTINGS rates them great for travel, with ANC that handles engine and street noise and over 50 hours of battery. All three say the Sony and Bose cancel more noise.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
