Is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless worth it?

Yes β€” the best premium gaming headset.

It sounds excellent, and the base station on your desk works as a DAC, a volume knob and a charger: one battery charges inside it while the other is in the headset, so you swap them and keep playing. Noise cancelling is decent, though deep rumble gets through, and the mic is good. Setting it up for a console is fiddly, and some owners find a small noise-cancelling mic inside each ear cup presses on their ears. Its 2026 successor, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, costs about Β£100 or $100 more.

How we reached this verdict

Tom's Guide calls it an impressive evolution of SteelSeries's headset, for excellent sound, the multifunction DAC, customisation and comfort, though it's hard to use with consoles and the noise cancelling isn't perfect. RTINGS finds warm sound, decent noise cancelling that lets bass rumble through, a good mic and hot-swappable batteries. TechRadar's review of the 2026 Arctis Nova Pro Omni says the Nova Pro Wireless may still be better value while it's on sale.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
