Is the T3 Aire 360 Dual Voltage Air Styler worth it?

Yes — for Airwrap-quality curls for half the price.

Its ceramic curling barrels give glossy, bouncy curls that hold into the next day, better than other Airwrap alternatives. It's light, quieter than most and dual voltage, so it works abroad. There's a learning curve, the oval brush is bulky, drying at the roots is awkward, and short hair gets little from it. You swap barrels to change curl direction.

Good to know

  • Takes practice, and the oval brush is bulky.
  • Drying at the roots is awkward with the wand shape.
  • The barrels get very hot to touch, and you swap them to change curl direction.
  • The diffuser isn't in the standard box, and older Aire 360 attachments don't fit.

How we reached this verdict

TechRadar gives the 2026 edition 4.25 out of 5 and names it the best Dyson Airwrap alternative: its ceramic barrels made the best curls of any rival it tested, lasting into the next day, though the oval brush is bulky and there's a learning curve. TechRadar ranks it second only to the Airwrap among hair stylers. T3 gave the first edition five stars and Allure found its curls lasted overnight on fine and thick hair.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
