Is the Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard worth it?
Yes, for a TV or media PC, not for your desk.
It puts a keyboard and touchpad in one light, cheap unit, so you can browse or control a PC on the TV from the sofa. It's very quiet, has volume and media keys, and a left-click button you can press with your left hand while your right thumb moves the cursor. It connects only through its USB receiver, so it won't work with phones or tablets, there's no backlight for a dark room, the all-plastic body flexes, and the tight key spacing causes typos. Mac support is limited.

What owners say

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS rates it a mediocre keyboard overall but one built for a TV or media PC: quiet, light to type on, with a trackpad and volume keys, though it flexes, has slippery keys and lacks Bluetooth and a backlight. Macworld calls it an affordable way to control a home theatre PC from the sofa, but not for Mac owners.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
