Is the Logitech G PRO X TKL RAPID worth it?

Yes, for competitive shooters, if you're happy with a cable.

Its magnetic switches let you set how far each key goes down before it registers, with rapid trigger and multi-point actuation for shooters and rhythm games, and latency is excellent. You can tune it on the keyboard itself or in G HUB, and it has media buttons and a volume roller. It's wired only, louder than most linear boards, tall without a wrist rest, and at its lowest actuation settings keys can trigger by accident.

Good to know

  • Wired only.
  • Keys can trigger by accident at the most sensitive settings.
  • Tall, so you'll want a wrist rest.
  • Louder than most keyboards with linear switches.

How we reached this verdict

RTINGS calls it an impressive gaming keyboard with excellent latency, adjustable actuation, rapid trigger and multi-point actuation, but notes an actuation accuracy issue with possible chatter at the most sensitive settings. TechRadar (3.5/5) found it very well made and well priced but its analog switches overly sensitive, and Laptop Mag (4/5) liked the clean design and fast switches but missed wireless and a number pad.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
