Is the Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL AF181 worth it?
Yes — for three or four people who want speed.
In RTINGS' testing it preheats fast and cooks faster than most air fryers, and its wide range of temperatures and fan speeds covers dehydrating to extra-crisp. It's compact for its size. Not everything comes out evenly crisp: a fair share of each batch stays soft, so shake it.

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS calls it a great air fryer: outstanding cooking speed, quick preheat, very compact and versatile with a wide range of fan speeds and temperatures. It leaves a significant portion of each batch undercooked, though more than half comes out crisp and golden.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
