Is the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) worth it?
Yes β a great wireless headset for PC team games.
It's light and comfortable for long sessions, and its detachable mic is one of the best on a wireless headset, so teammates hear you clearly. The battery lasts about 70 hours, it connects with a low-latency dongle and over Bluetooth, and Razer's app has EQ presets for popular esports games. It can't be used with a cable, doesn't work with Xbox, and it can't play the dongle and Bluetooth at the same time. Testers disagree on the bass: some found it heavy, others light.

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS calls it decent for wireless gaming: comfortable, about 70 hours of battery, low latency and a good mic, though it's wireless only and not for Xbox. Tom's Hardware (4/5) found the mic excellent and the fit very comfortable but the yokes a little flimsy, and TechRadar (4.5/5) calls it a big improvement on the 2020 model with an amazing mic, but a somewhat weak low end.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
