Is the Samsung QN70F Neo QLED worth it?
Only for gamers who want a Samsung.
It's bright enough for a sunny room in its default mode, its 4K panel runs at up to 144Hz with very low input lag and all four HDMI ports are HDMI 2.1, and the slim design sits on a central stand. Its local dimming does little, so contrast is poor for a Mini LED, HDR looks lacklustre, there's no Dolby Vision, and fast motion leaves some blur. The Hisense U7SG costs about the same and has a better picture.

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS rates it okay overall: bright enough for a bright room, four HDMI 2.1 ports at up to 144Hz and extremely low input lag, but poor contrast with ineffective local dimming, slow response time and no Dolby Vision. Tom's Guide calls it a very average QLED: its AI picture mode helps, but HDR is lacklustre, Filmmaker Mode is very dim and sets with better native performance cost about the same. No allowed shop has verified owner reviews of it yet.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
