Is the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus worth it?
Yes β if reading and notes matter more than speed.
Its matte 11.5-inch screen barely reflects, so it's easy to read outdoors, and a button switches the whole tablet to a muted colour-paper or black-and-white ink-paper mode for reading. A pressure-sensitive pen and a stand case come in the box. The chip feels sluggish, games struggle, the speakers sound boxy, battery life is only average and the case is flimsy. It's tiring to hold in one hand.

How we reached this verdict
PCMag rates it 3/5: the matte, glare-fighting screen and its three display modes impress, but sluggish performance holds it back. Android Authority gives it 4/5 as a budget tablet that finally does something different, despite a mediocre chip and no expandable storage. Tom's Guide found it easy to use in direct sunlight and calls it one of the best budget tablets for reading and notes.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
