Will it run a fridge in a power cut?
Yes. With 1,024 Wh it can keep a typical fridge going through a power cut, along with lights, phones and the Wi-Fi. Our power station calculator shows hours for your own devices.
Will it run a kettle or microwave?
Yes. It puts out 2,000 W continuously (3,000 W peak), enough for most kettles and microwaves — though they drain the battery quickly.
How fast does it recharge?
As fast as 49 minutes from the wall, but only with UltraFast charging switched on in the app — it switches off every time you unplug. Normal wall charging is slower.
Can it work as a UPS?
Yes. Anker says it switches to battery within 10 ms when the power cuts, so a router or computer plugged into it stays on.
Can I charge it with solar panels?
Yes, up to 600 W of solar, which Anker says recharges it in about 1.8 hours in good sun. Check that your panels stay within its 60 V and 15 A limits.
How heavy is it?
About 11.3 kg (24.9 lb) — you can carry it by its handles, but it's not one to take on a hike.
How long will the battery last over the years?
Anker rates it to keep at least 80% of its capacity after 4,000 charge cycles — more than ten years of daily use.
Can I add more batteries later?
No, the C1000 Gen 2 can't take extra batteries. If you'll want to grow it later, you need a station with extra-battery ports, such as the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus — the standard DELTA 3 Max can't be expanded either.
How many sockets does it have?
Anker lists 10 outputs on the US model, including AC outlets, USB-C and USB-A.
Should I get this or the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus?
The Anker if you need to run a fridge, kettle or several things at once. The RIVER 3 Plus to keep phones, laptops and a router going and carry it easily.
