Pods, bean-to-cup or espresso machine?

Three questions. You get the type of machine and the one to buy.

How much effort do you want to put in?
What do you mostly drink?
How many coffees a day, in your home?

Want the numbers? See what a machine saves you against the coffee shop.

You want a bean-to-cup machine.

It grinds fresh beans and makes espresso or a long coffee at a button, for less than most bean-to-cup machines. You froth milk yourself with the steam wand, which is fine if you mostly drink it black.

The three types, in a sentence each

Pod machines are the cheapest to buy and need no cleaning, but every cup costs more, and Nespresso Vertuo pods only come from Nespresso.

Bean-to-cup machines grind fresh beans and make the coffee at a button. They cost more up front and less per cup, and the brew unit needs a rinse every week.

Espresso machines make the best coffee for the money, but you do the work: grinding, tamping and frothing take some practice.
