How big a room is it for?
A bedroom, nursery or small office. Levoit says it cleans a 140 ft² (13 m²) room about five times an hour, or a 672 ft² (62 m²) space once an hour.
Is it quiet enough to sleep next to?
Yes. Levoit rates sleep mode at 27 dB, rising to 48 dB on high. RTINGS found it a soft hum on its quieter settings.
Does it adjust itself to the air quality?
No. It has no air-quality sensor, so it doesn't speed up on its own. You set the speed, a timer or a schedule.
Does it have a night light?
Yes, a built-in night light you can turn on or off — handy in a nursery.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes, through Levoit's VeSync app, with 2-, 4- or 8-hour timers, schedules and filter alerts. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant.
How big is it?
Small: about 20.5 cm across and 32 cm tall, weighing 3 kg — it fits on a bedside table.
How much electricity does it use?
Very little — it's rated at 37 W on the highest setting.
What's the warranty?
Check the listing for the UK warranty; Levoit offers a 2-year limited warranty in the US.
Should I get the Core 200S or the Core 600S?
The 200S for a bedroom or small room. The 600S for a living room or open-plan space — it moves far more air and adjusts itself to air quality.
