What can it cook?
Eight settings: Pizza, Max Roast, Gourmet Roast, Top Heat, Bake, Smoker, Dehydrate and Keep Warm. The pizza setting has presets for artisan, thin, New York, deep pan and calzone.
Does it really taste wood-fired?
A little. A built-in smoker box burns Ninja's wood pellets for a smoky flavour, but T3 found the flavour gentle compared with a real wood fire.
How hot does it get, and how fast are pizzas?
Up to 370°C, and Ninja says pizzas take under 3 minutes once it's preheated.
Does it need gas?
No, it's electric — it plugs into an outdoor socket. It's for outdoor use only.
How big is it inside?
Big enough for a 12-inch pizza, a whole 3 kg chicken with vegetables, a 5 kg beef joint or two racks of ribs, per Ninja.
What comes in the box?
A pizza stone, a bake tray, a roast rack, a pellet scoop and two sample bags of pellets. The stand is sold separately.
How heavy is it?
Ninja lists the UK model at about 25 kg (55 lb). It's a two-person lift, so plan where it lives.
Does it use a lot of electricity?
It's rated at 2,400 W, so it needs a proper 13 A socket — avoid long, thin extension leads.
Should I get this or the Ninja Artisan pizza oven?
The Woodfire if you'll also roast, smoke and bake. The Artisan if it's mainly for pizza and you want to spend less.
Should I get this or the Ooni Karu 2?
The Ooni for proper wood-fired pizza and more heat. The Woodfire if you'd rather plug in and also want roasts and smoking.
