Is the AOC Q27G3XMN worth it?
Yes — the best value monitor you can buy.
Mini LED backlighting with good local dimming gives it deep blacks and very bright HDR, something you rarely get at this price. 1440p at 180Hz with low input lag is great for PC gaming, and the stand adjusts well. Viewing angles are narrow, dark scenes show some smearing, and HDMI 2.0 limits consoles to 60Hz at 1440p.

How we reached this verdict
RTINGS names it the best budget monitor: Mini LED with good local dimming, a high native contrast ratio, very bright HDR, a fast response at any refresh rate, low input lag and fantastic ergonomics. Its weak points are narrow viewing angles, some black smearing and no extra office features.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
