Is the Braun Skin i·expert Pro 7 IPL worth it?

Yes — if you want an app to run the routine for you.

It reads your skin tone as you glide and sets each flash, and the app connects to it to guide sessions, track progress and remind you when the next one is due. It costs more than the Pro 5, which works much the same way without the app.

How we reached this verdict

T3 used it for eight weeks and saw slower, sparser regrowth after the first session and hardly any by week five; both legs took about seven minutes with the wide head. Stylist was still mostly hair-free seven months in, helped by the app's reminders. T3's catch is the price, and it points to the Pro 5 for similar results without the app.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
