Is the Hisense E6Q 50-inch worth it?

Yes — for a big 4K screen on a small budget.

It does the everyday job well: a sharp 4K picture, Dolby Vision for Netflix and Disney+, and Freely, so live channels stream in without an aerial. Owners say it's quick to set up and easy to use. It's a 60Hz set, so it isn't built for fast PC or console gaming.

How we reached this verdict

37 of the 39 verified Currys owners rate it 4 or 5 stars, most often for the clear, colourful picture and how easy it is to set up. On paper it covers the basics: 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, three HDMI 2.1 ports (one eARC) and the VIDAA system. It hasn't been lab-tested by the big review sites, so this verdict rests on owners and the spec sheet.

We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
