What can it power?

Anything up to 600 W continuously: phones, laptops, lights, a Wi-Fi router, a TV or a small fan. EcoFlow's X-Boost lets some heating devices up to 1,200 W run at reduced power, but it's too small to run a kettle or a fridge for long.

How long will it run my Wi-Fi router?

EcoFlow says up to about 35 hours for a 3 W router. Our power station calculator shows hours for other devices.

Can it work as a UPS for my router or computer?

Yes. EcoFlow says it switches to battery in under 10 ms when the power cuts, fast enough that a router or PC stays on.

How big is the battery?

286 Wh. You can add an EcoFlow extra battery to take it up to 858 Wh.

How fast does it recharge?

About an hour from the wall. From a car socket about 3.3 hours, and from solar (up to 220 W) as fast as 1.5 hours in full sun.

How heavy is it?

About 4.7 kg (10.4 lb), light enough to carry in one hand.

Will it run a fridge in a power cut?

Not for long. A fridge needs several times this battery over a day — look at the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 or EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max for that.

Is it good for camping?

For phones, lights, a laptop and a fan, yes. For a cool box or electric heating, you'll want more capacity.

Should I get this or the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2?

The RIVER 3 Plus to keep phones, laptops and a router going and carry it easily. The Anker if you need to run a fridge, a kettle or more at once.
