Is the Philips 5000 Series Megabasket with Steam NA565 worth it?
Yes — if you'd use the steam.
Use it as one 9.5L drawer or split it into 6L and 3L, and cook by air frying, steaming or both at once. It has a steam-clean mode too. It's expensive, only the big section steams, and the water tank needs descaling.
Good to know
- Only the big 6L section can steam.
- The water tank needs descaling.
- The shake reminder only comes once, halfway.

- 9.5L drawer that splits in two
- Air fry, steam or both

How we reached this verdict
Expert Reviews calls it a great successor to Philips' steam air fryer: a versatile 9.5L drawer with divider, simple to programme, with steam and SteamFry for healthier cooking. It's pricey, can't steam in the small section and needs descaling.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
