Is the Razer BlackShark V2 X worth it?

Yes โ€” a great cheap headset for team chat.

It's very light and comfortable, and its mic is excellent for the price. The 3.5mm plug works with any console controller or PC, so it suits Xbox, PlayStation and Switch alike. The sound is dark and bass-heavy, the mic doesn't come off, there's no software or USB adapter in the box, and the plastic build feels fragile next to dearer headsets.

RTINGS finds it comfortable with an excellent mic, but its sound dark and bass-heavy and inconsistent between wears, and notes the mic isn't detachable and there's no software. Tom's Hardware likes how light it is and its 50mm drivers, but calls the build fragile and cheap and misses a USB adapter. We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
