Is the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 worth it?
Yes, for Xbox โ if you don't mind a big headset.
The sound is clear, balanced and full, and the battery lasts about 80 hours. It comes with two USB-C dongles, so you can leave one in an Xbox and one in a PC or PlayStation and switch with a button, and Bluetooth for your phone works at the same time. The mic flips up to mute. It's bulky and heavy at about 405g, the headband padding flattens and can make your head ache, the fit is loose when you move, and the Swarm 2 app and firmware updates are fiddly.

How we reached this verdict
Tom's Guide calls it a standout headset for its outstanding sound, reliable mic and dual USB transmitters that make it ideal across platforms, though the fit is cumbersome. TechRadar praises the great sound, comfortable earpads, useful features and battery that matched its 80-hour claim, but found it very bulky, its headband uncomfortable and its PC connection occasionally dropping, and says it falls just short of the best at this price.
We compared independent expert reviews with the manufacturer's specifications, then checked it's sold at a major retailer where you live. We don't test products ourselves.
