Eufy Omni C28: questions before you buy
Yes — if mopping matters.
The best mopping for the money, with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes.

How does the roller mop work?
Instead of spinning pads, it has a long roller that presses down on the floor and is rinsed with clean water as it turns, so it never mops with dirty water. eufy says it spins at 270 rpm.
What does the dock do?
Everything: it empties the bin into a 3 L dust bag, refills the robot's water, washes the mop, dries it with warm air and collects the dirty water.
Is it good on carpet?
Fine for everyday dirt and pet hair, less so for fine dust in thick carpet. Expert Reviews found it picked up 98% of rice and dog hair, but only about 62% of flour on carpet.
Does pet hair tangle the brushes?
Less than most. eufy's twin spiral brushes are designed to stop hair wrapping, and Expert Reviews found it picked up dog hair well.
Will it fit under my sofa?
eufy lists the robot at about 11 cm (4.35 in) tall, so it needs a gap slightly bigger than that. Our robot vacuum height checker shows which robots fit your furniture.
Can it just mop, or mop after vacuuming?
Not separately. Trusted Reviews found there's no option to only mop, or to vacuum first and mop afterwards.
Is the dock loud?
Yes, while it empties and washes the mop. T3 found it noticeably loud.
Does it come with cleaning solution?
No. T3 noted there's no floor-cleaning solution in the box; eufy sells it separately and in bundles.
Should I get this or the Dreame D30 Ultra?
The C28 if most of your floors are hard and you have pets — its roller mop and anti-tangle brushes shine there. The D30 Ultra for more carpet and a mix of floors.
Should I get this or the Eufy E28?
The C28 for most homes — Tom's Guide found it cleaned better than the pricier E28. The E28 only if you'll use its detachable spot cleaner for spills, stairs and upholstery.
